Two people have been arrested after officers were injured while responding to a fight at a Trowbridge pub.
Police received a report about a disorder in The Greyhound on Mortimer Street at around 6.50pm on Wednesday, April 10.
When officers visited the pub and tried to manage the situation, two members of the public assaulted them, causing minor injuries.
Two suspects are currently in custody after being arrested in connection with the incident.
Police are now appealing for the public's help to identify two other men wearing black trousers, white shirts, and black ties, in newly-released CCTV images.
Police Sergeant Greenland, based in Trowbridge, said: “Assaults on police officers when they are just trying to do their job will not be tolerated – there can be no excuse for it.
“A full investigation into the incident is ongoing and we will do everything we can to ensure anyone who threatens or harms our officers is brought to justice.
