The team at a Swindon restaurant that has been in business for more than 40 years has said farewell to their customers.
Connie's on Devizes Road will close on Saturday after 42 years of serving up tasty Cantonese cuisine, then hand the keys to the premises back to the landlord before July 1.
Following the announcement of the impending closure in May, staff received an outpouring of affection from people around the town.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said: "To all our customers at Connie’s, we would like to thank everyone for their wonderful flowers, gifts and cards given to us before we closed our sit-down service.
"We are saddened that we couldn’t do more for everyone except give Swindon our all and our best to our extent.
"We are truly gutted that we could not have carried on serving but what has been a good run must come to an end.
"Again we would like to thank everyone in Swindon, new customers and old customers, for supporting us through these troubled times.
"If we decided to open up in the future we will keep everyone updated - not sure when but please keep us in mind.
"With true regards, Connie, Sing, JonJon."
