Residents living near Swindon town centre have been shocked to see a sinkhole appear, which has caused one road to close.
The sinkhole was spotted on Albion Street today (Thursday, June 20) and it has been barricaded to prevent any accidents.
Part of the road is closed - from the beginning of Albion Street to the area near Joseph Street and there are signs in place.
One resident said: "I'm not sure what's caused it but I definitely wasn't expecting to see a massive sinkhole in the road."
Swindon Borough Council posted on Facebook: "Our Highways Team have closed Albion Street (From Cambria Bridge Road to Joseph Street) due to a void appearing in the carriageway.
"Investigations are currently ongoing as to its cause, with the road closed until further notice."
