A man has appeared in court accused of imprisoning a woman in Swindon and threatening to burn her house down.
As well as false imprisonment and threats to damage property, Dean Baker, 23, is also accused of assault, grievous bodily harm and stealing a PlayStation 4.
The offences are alleged to have taken place on June 18 and 20.
He pleaded not guilty to the five offences when he appeared in Swindon Magistrates Court on July 1, represented by Mr Luke Jameson.
The severity of the offences means they must be heard in Swindon Crown Court on August 19. Mr Baker, who wore a blue tracksuit, was not granted bail.
