A major A-road in Wiltshire is set to close for up to five nights for a National Highways project.
A lengthy stretch of the A36, from the Crockerton roundabout with the A350 at Warminster to the A303 Deptford Interchange, is scheduled to close.
This work is due to begin on Monday, July 15, and continue until the morning of Saturday, July 20.
During this time, the A36 will be shut to traffic between the hours of 9pm and 5am.
The slip roads onto the A303 at the Deptford Interchange will also be closed.
This is so National Highways can carry out maintenance works in the area, including horticulture such as cutting and planting.
Motorists have been warned delays to their journeys are likely during the nighttime closures.
A diversion route has been announced that will see drivers heading northbound continue on the A303 before turning onto the A350 and rejoining the A36 at Crockerton, and vice versa.
The closures are likely to affect villages along the route including Heytesbury, Codford, and Fisherton de la Mere.
