A police chase through the streets of Swindon has led to the arrests of two people and drugs being seized.
The incident caused traffic to back up on Drakes Way in Swindon just before noon on Saturday, July 6, as police raced through the streets pursuing a vehicle.
Live traffic maps at the time showed delays near the Mercedes-Benz garage and the Big Yellow Self Storage in Drakes Way.
Onlookers described a "big police presence" and "a chase" with traffic at a standstill going towards Greenbridge.
Wiltshire Police has now confirmed two men have been arrested following the lunchtime incident.
"Two men have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply after their vehicle was stopped on Drakes Way, Swindon just before noon today," said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
"A large amount of cash was seized from the vehicle along with Class B drugs.
"They have been taken to Gablecross police station for questioning."
