As you might know I have an unhealthy interest in street names and puns so I have decided to develop a standard list of punny street names that local councils could use when they are at a loss for a theme to use on a new development. Which appears to be most of the time, if Swindon is anything to go by.

It’s exactly what the doctor ordered if you are struggling to think of imaginative names for use on a former hospital site, for example; or for that difficult eco-friendly development where something a bit more unorthodox than Elmoak Limes or Fieldgrass Green is called for.
