A Little Bit Longer by The Jonas Brothers out on SOS Records The Jonas Brothers have been quietly building a solid reputation in the music business and this album is the proof of the pudding, kicking off with BB Good a slow resonant intro of a track that builds into full on rock guitar. Burnin’ Up is a cracker. It is a creepy, atmospheric gothic soundscape with a tension build to a rock chorus.

Got Me Going Crazy is upbeat blues song, When You Look Me In The Eyes has some pretty piano work and is an angst ridden love song. Shelf showcases the gritty rock voice of the lead singer, and turns up the wah wah guitar while One Man Show is quite simply a rock anthem. Lovebug is a rock ballad with some poignant vocals that tug at the heart strings.

The title track A Little Bit Longer is an all powerful psychedelic track. Tonight is an orchestral film score number with a smooth guitar solo.

Can’t Have You is more of a pop rock tune with a catchy chorus and Vido Girl is a bouncy mix of The Darkness meets Led Zeppelin song with a strong melody. Pushin’ Me Away is a ride of the Valkerie-style number and Sorry has some glorious King Crimson style rock with a blues centre. Flicky Harrison
