SNOWY and icy conditions on Swindon roads have brought early morning headaches to motorists and pedestrians.
The M4 motorway between junction 14 and 17 is extremely treacherous - although the first lane between 15 and 16 has been cleared.
The Great Western Way is full of slush and drivers are warned to take extra care.
The A361 between Highworth and South Marston is closed in both directions.
The A419 south at Cricklade is closed. A lorry is stuck in the snow due to heavy snow.
Drivers say roads around Freshbrook in west Swindon and Wootton Bassett say it is worst today since the snow hit at the start of the week.
Wroughton High Street is open but there are a number of broken down vehicles causing blockages.
Swindon Street is closed in both directions. Traffic is building up on the A420 and the A4312.
