HEAVY snowfall overnight has caused many accidents and disruption around Swindon and the rest of Wiltshire.
At 2.30am the A419 near Blunsdon saw a vehicle jacknifed at Blunsdon hill. This blocked both lanes on the southbound carridgeway.
Road conditions on the A345 into Pewsey are almost impassable due to weather. Police are warning motorists to avoid using this road unless unavoidable.
Due to severe weather problems on A350, it has had to be shut between Longbridge Deverill and the A303.
Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes or remain home and only travel if your journey is essential.
Conditions on the Malmesbury Road from Chippenham is impassable and has been closed.
