The Met Office says tonight will be a cold one, with temperatures dropping to minus 6C, although any further snow fall is unlikely. However, as the temperature drops, the roads will freeze making conditions on the roads particularly dangerous late tonight and into tomorrow.

Tomorrow, there be a mixture of sleet and light snow showers with temperatures rising up to 3C. During the night, Swindon will be extremely cold at about minus 7C.

On Sunday, rain will move in although the Met Office has warned this could hit the cold air and turn into sleet and snow. Temperatures will drop to 0C overnight.

On Monday, rain, sleet and snow is predicted with the bad weather moving in through the afternoon and evening.

Wiltshire Police are warning snow levels on Salisbury Plain could lead to flood alerts next week if the snow melts quickly.
