ST JOSEPHS SUNDAY
Jamie Penfold was in fine form for Gorse Hill Blues as they battled to a 3-2 victory over Booya, preserving their 100% start to the Swindon St Joseph's Sunday 6-a-side Leisure League.
GTS Legends remain undefeated as John Lampard pulled the strings in their comfortable 4-0 defeat of Boca Seniors, whilst UK Dons FC also hit their opponents for four, but were unable to keep a clean sheet as Swindon’s Finest managed to muster a solitary response.
ABBEY MEADS SUNDAY
Aaron Wells was at his best as Valley FC stayed top of the table after thumping God with an Extra 'O' 9-2.
At the other end of the table Cement FC did their hopes of avoiding the drop no harm at all, as they held Los Galacticos 6-6 – although Joe Cox will feel he deserved more.
In Division One Red Star saw off Deportivo Laka Talent 7-4, while there wasn’t a blizzard of goals but there was a fine Neil Snow performance as LMA beat Never Last 4-3.
NEXT GENERATION THURSDAY
Westhaydon United made it four wins out of four for the new season in Next Generation Thursday as Matt Bennett helped them romp home to a 15-2 rout of Toon Army.
FC Kerry are only two points shy of top spot as Liam Harper ensured they clung on 11-8 in a pulsating affair with FC Bassett, and Kembrey FC were another side to smash home double-figures as Liam Gough ensured they claimed a crushing 10-1 win over CTC United.
