THE Swindon NHS is changing the way health visitors work in an attempt to make them more localised.
Every child under the age of five in the town has a health visitor and on September 6, parents will get the chance to meet their new health visitor at community clinics around the town.
Visitors will still be available to help with any issues or worries but they will be much more local, so some families may find their former health visitor has changed.
To find out a list of dates and times for the clinics visit www.swindonpct.nhs.uk/your-nhs/Babies-children.
