MORE than 60 young actors, dancers and singers have been pulling out all the stops since the autumn for their spring show.
The pantomime, Zinders, is written by Gina Musty – chairwoman of the Dorcan Performing Arts Group.
The actors aged from 10 years upwards will be treading the boards on Thursday and Friday, February 3 and 4, at Dorcan Technology College.
Zinders is played by Jade Fuller, the Prince by Marcie Titcombe, Buttons by Dannielle Clark and the Ugly Sisters are Robert Campbell and Andrew Edmonds.
Alma Welby, the treasurer of DPAG, said: “The casting was in September and they have been rehearsing since October.
“We get everyone in the group, all 60 of them, up on stage.
“Everyone has a part from chorus to leading roles.’’
Doors open at 6.45pm at the school with the curtain due up at 7pm.
