A drama training school for adults is in its second term and proving a huge success.
Swindon ACT was set up last year by actor Luke Marquez. The courses are taught by Luke and guest teachers from the performance and teaching worlds.
“We believe that acting training not only offers the skills needed to work in TV or film but the training helps build confidence and develop good communication and creativity skills,’’ said Luke.
ACT, based in George Street, near Faringdon Road Park, has beginners’ classes for those starting out, performer short courses for those with experience who want to go up a level, and specialist workshops on specific theatre skills such as directing, script and voice management.
The workshops are open to the public as well as members of Swindon ACT weekly clases. For more details call 01793 320283.
