Wootton Bassett Museum has been successful in its bid for nearly £1,000 for new equipment to help document the town’s past.
The heritage group was given £916 towards buying IT equipment at the Wootton Bassett and District Area Board meeting last week.
It was part of a total of about £7,740 allocated out of a total grants budget of £62,000.
Steve Walls, chairman of the museum and heritage group said: “This equipment will be very useful to the museum to improve its service to the community. It’s a much more modern outlook for the museum.”
