A WOMAN lost more than £500 when her purse was stolen while she was shopping on Monday.
Samantha Evans, 23, of Gorse Hill, was in the RSPCA shop in Gorse Hill at about 1.30pm when a man barged past her and took her purse.
She discovered the purse was missing when she went to the cash machine outside and is now hoping witnesses might help her find the thief as she needed the money to pay her new landlord.
The man was in his late 20s, wore dark trousers and a grey hoodie, and had short dark hair.
A spokeswoman for Wiltshire Police said: “We have a line of inquiry with the CCTV and we are looking for witnesses to come forward.”
