A COUPLE joined hundreds of others who were celebrating special anniversaries at the weekend.
Jackie and Liam O’Shaughnessy celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at a special Mass in Bristol’s Clifton Cathedral on Saturday, February 19. They were part of a congregation of more than 500 made-up of people celebrating anniversaries of all ages.
Father Christopher Whitehead said: “Liam and Jackie were part of a wonderful celebration bringing together people from the four counties of our diocese.
“We reckon, if added up, we celebrated close to 10,000 years of married life in the Cathedral on Saturday.”
