A PAIR of brothers have been remanded in custody after one admitted robbing a man of his car and the other then driving it.
James Howells, 25, pleaded guilty to robbing a man of a Seat Leon in Swindon on January 12 and 28-year-old Anthony admitted driving the car the following day in Chippenham.
He also admitted driving the car while banned from the road and and his younger brother pleaded guilty to being carried in the stolen car.
Anthony pleaded guilty to aggravated taking without consent and driving while disqualified. James admitted robbery and aggravated taking without consent in that he allowed himself to be carried in the vehicle.
James, of Marney Road, Grange Park and Anthony, of Woodlands Road, Chippenham were both remanded in custody.
The case to May 18 to allow the probation service time to compile pre-sentence reports.
