The Parish Church of St Augustine of Canterbury, Summers Street, Rodbourne, is pleased to announce the return of Professor Dr Ian Tracey, Organist Titulaire of Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral and Liverpool City Organist, who will be giving a recital on the organ at St Augustine’s on Wednesday 18th May 2011 at 7.30pm.

This will be his fourth visit to the church to give a recital (2005, 2007, 2009), and on this occasion, the recital will be to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the installation of the original pipe organ. It is an honour for the church to be hosting this recital, as Ian is one of the country’s leading organists and is in much demand in the UK, and all across the world. He holds numerous fellowships from musical institutions around the world, and is also a recording artist for EMI, Chandos and Priory Records.
