THE FAMILY of tragic Becky Godden-Edwards have thanked people for their floral tributes to her.
A site in Nine Elms has been preserved for the dozens of flowers well-wishers have left in her memory.
Mother Karen Edwards, 51, posted on Facebook: “I would just like to thank everyone who has sent special messages about my daughter Becky, it is very much appreciated and a great comfort.
“I have been advised to look at the Facebook page, and it has given me great pleasure and tears of joy just to see what a popular little girl she was. It makes me feel so proud, Becky was loved so much. She was a little girl that lost her way.
“We have had some beautiful cards, flowers and messages. also I have been asked where flowers can be left for Becky, so the family have organised a place for flowers – they can be left on the green in Old Shaw Lane, just off Sandacre Road opposite the basketball pitch.
Brother Steven Edwards, 31, said: “We just want to thank everyone for their tributes, from all the family.”
