THE recipients of tax credits in Swindon are being reminded to renew their claims by July 31 or their payments will stop.
HM Revenue and Customs is urging the 22,100 tax credit claimants in the town to act as soon as they receive a renewal pack from HMRC.
Claimants need to check the accuracy of the information in the pack, as HMRC does carry out checks.
They also need to let HMRC know of any changes in their circumstances that they haven’t reported during the year.
