The Friends of St Andrews School (FOSAS) are hosting the Blunsdon Village Fete on June 11th 2011 12-3pm and this year it's back at the Recreation.

The fete promises to provide lots of entertainment, much of it free in the form of displays in the Arena Area and a number of interactive stalls. Come and watch Omanye African drums, Kelly Dance,G5 Martial Arts, Kirsty Farrow Dance and the school choir. There will be workshops provided by Swindon Futsal, G5 Martial Arts, Pegasus Brass Band, Omanye African Drums. There will be mini quad bikes, electric cars, pony rides, a bouncy castle and much more.

There is a Grand Prize Raffle, with hundreds of pounds of prizes including tickets to the Fairford Air Show, £100 voucher for Cotswold Boat Hire, £50 Boden gift voucher, Hair Cut from BackStage Hair Studio, £25 Clarkes Gift Voucher, Shellac Nail Treatment from Kelly Salon, @Bristol, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Longleat, Bowood House and many more kindly donated prizes.

There are many games stalls organised by the Friends including a treasure hunt and guess the no of balloons in the car. There will also be a whole host of refreshments to keep your energy levels topped up including a BBQ, cakes, ice-cream, hot and cold drinks and a licensed bar.

If you feel you need a reminder of a truely memorable afternoon then why not visit the henna art stall for a temporary keepsake.
