Fashion show staff at Debenhams took to the cat walk to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The fashion show, Holiday Heaven, was held in the town centre store to coincide with the launch of their seasonal sale.

The opening night was marked on Tuesday with a glamorous fashion show, make-up demonstration, refreshments and raffle with all money going towards Macmillan Cancer Support.

Once people had seen the show, they were able to buy the clothes at a discounted rate ahead of the first day of the sale.

Polly Bishop, Macmillan fundraising manager for Wiltshire, said: “The store contacted me out of the blue and said they were holding this fashion show to celebrate the opening day of the sale and whether they could raise money for Macmillan.

“This was the first event they had held in store and a lot of people who were in the store at the time came up to watch.

“I want to say a big thank you to the staff at Debenhams, it is hugely important that we get help from local supporters to keep the charity going which relies solely on donations.”
