SOME of the 90s biggest pop sensations entertained crowds in Old Town tonight.

Downsized versions of boyband Five and pop favourites S Club 7 took to the stage in the Town Gardens as around 300 people turned out for the annual Family Bowl Concert.

X Factor favourite Stacey Soloman also sang some of her favourite tunes, as well as the country's previous Eurovision Song Contest entry, Scooch.

As the sun shone and the sausages sizzled on the barbecue, girl group The Scarletz opened the show before spending time signing autorgraphs and posing for pictures with fans.

And as the night went on, every artist finished their performance with a meet and greet with fans at the front of the stage.

Eleven year old Leah Rossiter said: "I was most excited to see Stacey, she was really good and I asked her to come and perform at my school, she said maybe."

After performing a number of their most popular hits including Got The Feeling and If Ya Getting Down, the remaining two members of Five told the Adver they were delighted to be performing in Swindon.

Scott and Abs said: "It was great, one of the best shows we have done.

"They were a nice crowd, and because it was a young crowd it was very relaxed, obviously we have done bigger crowds but we really enjoyed it.

"We have been to Swindon before but it was years ago and we would definitely come back if we were invited.

"A lot of the children in the crowd were too young to remember us first time around but they were all still singing along and they knew all the words."

Jo, Paul and Bradley from S Club 7 closed the night's entertainment after performing some of their top tracks including Never Had A Dream Come True and their debut single Bring It All Back.

The next concert at the Bowl takes place on June 4 when 80s favourites Sonia, Limahl and Hazell Dean take to the stage.
