Guitarist, Jem Edwards, played at the legendary Glastonbury festival after being a roadie on Motorheads’ first tour with Hawkwind in 1976.
He has now teamed up the Dinkum Bohos including pianist and singer Vasudha Harte from Byron Bay, Australia, and the band are currently touring the UK. On Thursday they will be performing live at the Hive in the Beehive, Prospect Hill, Old Town, Swindon, from 9pm. Their music merges Vasudha’s captivating piano with Jem’s cascading Spanish guitar creating bohemian outback-inspired sounds steeped in jazz grooves, tango, folk, cabaret, rock and rap. The gig is free.
