A NEW online video to help businesses avoid selling age-restricted goods to young people is now available in Wiltshire.
Called No Proof of Age – No Sale the video toolkit is now available on a new website set up for businesses selling age-restricted goods.
It has been developed by Wiltshire Council and 14 other trading standard authorities in the south west.
The video offers a comprehensive training resource to help businesses comply with underage sales legislation.
For example, not all businesses are aware that it is not just the obvious items like tobacco and alcohol that are age restricted.
Selling products such as pets, petrol, or and even using a sunbed require people them to be a certain age.
