PART of Cricklade High Street will be closed on Monday for essential gas repair works to be undertaken.
A spokesman for Wales and West Utilities said the work was necessary for improvement work.
He said: "Due to a gas escape, a road closure to the High Street between Waylands and Calcutt Street, Cricklade, is required to complete the works as quickly and efficiently as possible while maintaining the safety of road users, pedestrians and the workforce involved in the work. "This section of High Street will be closed on Monday 18th June for two days. Access to shops and businesses in the closed section will be possible via the Calcutt Street end and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the work.
"We apologise for the inconvenience while this essential work is carried out."
