A PORTABLE building firm with a depot in Swindon has changed its name to reflect an evolving marketplace.

Pickerings Plant, supplier of portable buildings and related products, which has a depot on Rivermead Drive, West Swindon, has announced it has changed its name to Pickerings Hire Limited with immediate effect.

The company name change is due to a significant business transformation and a growing demand for its portable and modular buildings.

Neil Moss, managing director of Pickerings Hire Limited, said, β€œIn recent years we have seen an unprecedented demand from our customers for a growing and wider range of portable and modular buildings.

"As a result, we have invested heavily to ensure our customers can hire the most modern building solutions and associated products in our industry. We believe it is now appropriate to change our company name and logo.”

As part of their continual growth Pickerings is in the process of launching a range of new products aimed at the education, health and commercial sectors.

Pickerings started in 1969 as a plant hire business and has its head office in Derbyshire.
