SUPPORT and funding is available for manufacturing businesses from the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership until March 2019.
The local enterprise body has supported more than 300 small and medium sized manufacturers in the region since 2014 through the South West Manufacturing Advisory Service.
SWMAS can provide publicly-funded grants to help businesses grow, improve efficiency, and expand their manufacturing operations
The programme offers consultancy and capital investment, as well as help with business strategy from business experts and networking opportunities.
Jon Carter, director, Elmill, which makes metal tubing at its site in Westbury, said: "The support and grant funding has assisted Elmill to purchase a CNC lathe and bring the production of components for primary products in house.
"This will lead to greater productivity through improved quality control, more effective stock management, greater flexibility on utilising down time and increasing the skill level of the business to open up new markets."
