LAURA Halford heads into the second half of her European Championship campaign this afternoon.
The 19-year-old Cricklade ace, who won three medals at last year’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and is the reigning British champion, is out competing in Minsk, Belarus, alongside Esprit gymnastics club team-mate Staphani Sherlock.
Halford racked up 15.003 in the hoop competition and 15.133 with her ball routine whilst Sherlock, 18, scored 12.950 and 14.716 respectively.
The Esprit duo are in action again today in the clubs and ribbon events, with competition beginning at 1.15pm UK time.
