DRIVERS travelling down the A419 and westbound on the M4 this morning faced a slow journey as a huge fuselage travelled through the region.
The abnormal load was a Boeing 737 fuselage being towed down from the Cotswold Airport in Kemble up to junction 18 of the M4.
Throughout the trip it was given a police escort and, due to the slow speeds there was a build-up of traffic, and long queues.
The load measured 4.42 metres wide, 4.9 metres high with an overall length of 38 metres and gross train weight of 70 tonnes.
