SWINDON Town are interested in signing Bradford City striker Eoin Doyle, according to reports.
The Sun journalist Alan Nixon has tweeted the 31-year-old Irish forward – who scored 11 goals in 48 appearances for the Bantams last season – has attracted interest from Town manager Richie Wellens.
Doyle still has a year remaining on his two-year contract at Valley Parade after signing from Preston North End.
It follows news that Wellens is chasing a proven goalscorer that can complement the work of Southend forward Theo Robinson.
Robinson joined Town on a loan spell lasting until the end of the season on transfer deadline day in Janaury - and he remains in regular dialogue with Wellens regarding a permanent Town move following the conclusion of his loan stint.
Wellens is also keen to use one of his loan signings as a replacement for departing striker Ben House, having stated his intent to play two up front where possible next season.
