ONE TO WATCH: Byron Moore
AS A striker, Plymouth Argyle’s Byron Moore has never quite hit the dizzy heights he perhaps hoped for as a youngster at Crewe Alexandra.
He scored 30 goals during a seven-year stay at Gresty Road before stints at Port Vale, Bristol Rovers and Bury followed.
Bury’s collapse prompted Moore to become the fifth player at the time to move to Devon when ex Shakers boss Ryan Lowe took over at Argyle - and he’s made eight appearances this season.
He’s only scored twice, and one of those goals came in Plymouth’s first EFL Trophy fixture.
Experience could count against Swindon Town’s makeshift back-line.
KEY BATTLE: Steven Benda v Klaidi Lolos
RICHIE Wellens has made it clear that first-team shirts are up for grabs for all members of the Swindon Town squad.
In defence, Zeki Fryers, Ellis Iandolo and Gabriel Zakuani will want to prove themselves ahead of Mathieu Baudry’s return imminent. Michael Doughty has a point to prove in midfield, while younger players Scott Twine, Taylor Curran and Adam May will want to impress.
But the biggest battle could ignite this evening against Plymouth Argyle as Steven Benda looks set to make his Town debut in goal.
Against youthful Argyle forward Klaidi Lolos, Benda could poach Luke McCormick’s starting spot following an indifferent run of form.
