RYAN Mason could be set for a spell out of action after twisting his ankle at Macclesfield yesterday.
The midfielder hobbled off towards the end of the 4-0 FA Cup first-round defeat to the non-league Silkmen and manager Mark Cooper is concerned Mason's injury woes may have come back to haunt him.
“He’s twisted his ankle," Cooper told the Advertiser. "It looked as though he was struggling so it’s another injury for him and it’ll be another spell on the sidelines. We’ll have to see how it reacts.
“We have to get on with it, that’s football and these things happen. We have to get on with it and that’s the way it is.”
