JAKE Reeves has done enough in his brief appearances from the bench to give Mark Cooper a “nice problem”.
The midfielder has only played a development fxture against Cheltenham and just over 30 minutes in two appearances from the bench since his signing prior to last month’s draw with Coventry.
Those showings have demonstrated to his manager he has enough about him to put Town’s established midfield trio of Yaser Kasim, Massimo Luongo and Louis Thompson, under pressure for their places.
Asked how he thought Reeves had done since joining the club, Cooper said: “He’s done well in my opinion when he’s come on.
“We have got three midfield players that are playing quite well. We have to weigh that up, do we upset that three? Or do we try and freshen it up a little bit?
“That’s a problem that I’ve got to face over the next couple of days. It’s a nice problem.”
