SWINDON Spitfires Under 14s clinched a 6-1 win over Carterton in the Oxford Girls League Carterton took the lead through Millie Hall, but Aimee Prinzi responded after eight minutes and Chloe Neate netted before half time to give Swindon the lead.
Courtney Gleed and two more from Prinzi, plus a Jamine Hindon effort wrapped it up.
Spitfires United progressed through to the semi finals of the Wiltshire Women’s League Cup with victory over league leaders FC Chippenham.
Carla Compton scored twice in normal time, Diane George adding another in extra time as the match eventually went to penalties.
Clare Moreton, Katrina Reynolds and Rachel Eley scored from the spot to book a clash against Laverstock and Ford, who beat Spitfires Development team 6-2, despite two goals from Hayley Shipp.
