SWINDON Town will take on University College Dublin in the second friendly of their pre-season trip to Ireland later this month.
As part of a six-day tour, during which Luke Williams’ side will play Shelbourne on Tuesday, July 12, Town are also set to pit their wits against another Dublin-based League of Ireland First Division outfit in the form of UCD on Saturday, July 16 (kick-off 2pm).
The college side have announced that Swindon will visit the 3000-capacity UCD Bowl on their official website but the fixture has yet to confirmed by Town.
Williams’ men begin their summer friendly schedule with a trip to non-league neighbours Swindon Supermarine this Saturday (kick-off 3pm) whilst Championship Reading and Premier League Swansea City are also due to travel to the County Ground on July 19 and 27 respectively.
Town also go to National League Woking, from whom they signed midfielder John Goddard, on July 23.
