STRATTON Churchways are two matches away from representing Wiltshire in the National Top Club competition.
They have reached the northern section area final where they will play Calne at Wootton Bassett on Sunday.
Stratton progressed to this stage of the competition with a comfortable 3-1 win over Westlecot in the north semi-final.
In the singles, Stratton's vastly-experienced Wendy Anderson, who switched clubs this season, beat Julia Eatwell 21-15.
Then Ellen Bolland and Janet Willis followed up that success in the doubles with an 18-14 win over Westlecot's pairing of Jenny Vowles and Rosemary Nichols.
The trio of Jane Webb, Jan Protheroe and Mary Moss ensured an area final spot as they clinched a 29-14 win in the triples.
Stratton failed to complete a whitewash as they lost the fours.
