Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players in tonight's 2-2 draw at Crawley Town in League Two.
LAWRENCE VIGOUROUX – 8.5
Excellent in goal. Crawley could’ve easily put more past. Some solid saves and commanded his back four well while Town were under pressure with just nine men.
KYLE KNOYLE - 8
A solid first half and got stuck in when contesting balls in the air, a matured performance. Did nothing wrong in both of Town’s goals. Can leave Sussex in good spirits.
SID NELSON – 7.5
His start prompted a question or two from fans, but he performed well and can take a lot from the game. Calm and composed.
OLLY LANCASHIRE – 7.5
Much improved performance from the skipper. Battled hard and showed great determination to win headers. Seemed to work well with Nelson by his side.
MATT TAYLOR – 8
Never stopped working and communication with his back four, especially when Town were reduced to nine men. Experienced shined through.
JERMAINE MCGLASHAN – 7.5
Proved a frustrating character for Crawley, often winning free kicks in critical situations when the home side were pressing forward.
JAMES DUNNE – 6.5
Performed with great determination in the first half, especially when notching Town’s first goal. But jeopardised Town’s chances when a late challenge resulted in a second red card.
MICHAEL DOUGHTY – 7.5
Lost the ball on a couple of occasions but generally solid in midfield. Worked hard again and made Crawley work hard throughout the second 45.
TOUMANI DIAGOURAGA – 5
A promising first half for Town’s holding midfielder. But a sloppy and needless challenge at the start of the second half meant he saw red.
KESHI ANDERSON – 7.5
A slow start, but recovered well to score Town’s second goal – a really clinical finish. Eventually subbed.
ELIJAH ADEBAYO – 7.5
Did his job well. Made some determined runs in the first half before holding the ball up well when Town were reduced to nine men. Subbed.
Substitutes:
MARTIN SMITH – 6.5
Part of a midfield that worked overtime to hold off Crawley’s late charge before the injury time penalty.
STEVEN ALZATE – 6.5
Took his time when under pressure amid Town’s nine-man display. Clearly wants his first team shirt back.
MARC RICHARDS – 5.5
Showed great experience by holding the ball up and creating space during Town’s moments of pressure in the late minutes. Sloppy challenge though to gift Crawley a penalty.
Subs not used: Luke McCormick, Jak McCourt, Ellis Iandolo, Joe Romanski.
