ROYAL Wootton Bassett got the better of their Swindon & District Winter League Division Three clash with Moredon B, forcing plenty of turnovers and keeping possession to close out a 55-27 win, with Liz Kelly their player of the match.
Lawn C got the better of Pinehurst C, Phoebe Thompson being named their player of the match in a 46-31 success.
Nationwide C took on newcomers RTM and went down 58-40 despite a battling display which saw Tiffany Wigmore named their player of the match.
Good attacking play and shooting helped Royal Wootton Bassett B secure a 45-10 success against Delta B in Division Four, goal attack Lilli Beard being Bassett’s player of the match.
In Division Five, Royal Wootton Bassett C came up against Calne who took an early lead and maintained the edge to win 29 -25. Goal attack Rhiannon Arthur was Bassett’s player of the match.
Lawn D were outgunned 63-26 by Moredon C.
Fairford A finished seven goals ahead after the first quarter of their Division Two match against Burmah B, who fought back to eventually clinch a 50-46 triumph.
Lawn B took the lead early in their game with Purton A and never looked back as they ran out 46-14 victors.
Lawn A produced a fine performance against Pinehurst A to wrap up a 43-34 victory in Division One.
- RAYCHEM held the upper hand in their Regional League Three game against town rivals Lawn, securing the honours 62-33.
