Lawrence Vigouroux – 6.5
Goal could’ve been prevented, was easily lobbed from a set-piece. Good catching but almost gifted the Silkmen a second when losing the ball mid-kick.
Kyle Knoyle – 6
Hacked down to the ground late in the first half. Nothing spectacular up until that point. Subbed.
Dion Conroy – 5
Granted the hosts’ strikers so much time and space in the early moments. Recovered well, but lucky not to be exploited more.
Luke Woolfenden – 6.5
Proving himself to be a regular now. Solid in defence, calmed the pace of the game when it was needed.
Ellis Iandolo – 5.5
Similar to Conroy, let his man loose too often in the opening half.
Canice Carroll – 5.5
Some wayward passing and often mis-controlling the ball. Tried his luck at goal, but an underwhelming debut.
Jak McCourt – 8
Inch-perfect free kick to tee up Marc Richards for Town’s opener, then clinical in front of goal to snatch the winner. Standout display.
Scott Twine – 6.5
Not too much to rant about. Didn’t deliver anything spectacular, but similarly wasn’t holding the team back.
Keshi Anderson – 7
Some strong runs through midfield again, and perhaps deserved a goal for the position that he got himself into.
Kaiyne Woolery – 7
Caused Macclesfield problems at times with his pace, but without a goal again and was dealt with well by the opposition.
Marc Richards – 7.5
Struck at long last and could have some confidence back. Looked tired towards the end of the game.
SUBS: Jermaine McGlashan – 7.5 Ben House – 7.5 James Dunne – 7.5
