FRIDAY marks exactly 50 years since Swindon Town’s famous League Cup final win over Arsenal at Wembley, and to celebrate this great occasion, the Swindon Town Supporters’ Trust are hosting a 50th Anniversary event, alongside their annual AGM at the MECA on March 15.

The evening kicks off at 6pm with a free welcome drink and food buffet, followed by a Q&A session with Town legends Don Rogers, John Trollope, Joe Butler and Frank Burrows.

This is a chance for supporters to come along and personally thank them for what they achieved for the club.

Trust board members will be giving out a free souvenir memento for every attendee and a photographer will be on hand to take free photos of supporters with the legends. There will also be a chance to get autographs before the AGM formally starts.

All supporters groups have been invited to present and as well as the usual formalities, the Trust will be providing updates on the proposed joint-venture purchase of the County Ground freehold.

The meeting is a chance for supporters to have their say on matters and give feedback which will help shape the forthcoming discussions.

Fans are encouraged to bring questions with them or submit them in advance on Twitter, Facebook or by emailing info@truststfc.com

The evening will conclude with live music from Back2Back through until 11pm.

The event is free for all supporters and their partners but for planning purposes please register at www.truststfc.tv/party.
