Luke McCormick – 6.5
Untested throughout, had to be brave on one occasion in the first half. Good distribution. Thrown by the goal.
Zeki Fryers – 5
Error prone early on, passes were mis-placed – over and under hit. Still worked hard nonetheless, but will play better.
Mathieu Baudry – 6
An excellent first half interception to deny Northampton a sight on goal. A couple more silly errors when in a moment of control.
Lloyd Isgrove – 6.5
Work rate was exceptional at times amid the game’s slump. Was prevented his usual runs by a dogged Cobblers’ midfield and defence.
Adam May – 5-5
Ran into pockets of space at times, but often had few options when it came to offloading the ball. Chance to pull the game level was skied.
Michael Doughty – 6
Nothing spectacular – corners were extremely consistent, always delivered in the danger zone. Understandably not happy with the goal.
Kaiyne Woolery – 6
Some inspired moments of pace and energy to burst past his marker. Equally, a couple of sloppy first touches and passes.
Jordan Lyden – 6
Like Isgrove, denied his usual creative flair by Cobblers’ rugged defence.
Rob Hunt – 6
Composed in defence, performance perhaps went unnoticed amid the drama at the other end of Town’s defensive back four.
Dion Conroy – 6
Solid in defence, another calming and controlled performance. Pushed forward and was unlucky not to grab a goal.
Eoin Doyle – 5.5
Played deep at times when his presence was needed forward. Lacked a bit of support while Northampton set up camp, though.

Tyler Reid – 6.5
