RICHIE WELLENS’ search for a goalkeeper has concluded after it was confirmed that Swansea City stopper Steven Benda has joined on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old, who signed for Swansea from 1860 Munich in summer 2017, was last season named the Swans’ Young Player of the Year after impressing in his 19 appearances for the U23s team.
Born in Stuttgart, the 6’4” ‘keeper also won the FAW Youth Cup in 2018 with the Swans’ U19s squad in 2018.
It’s possible more transfer news will be made public by Swindon Town in the coming hours.
