EOIN Doyle this morning became the first player in League Two history to win the division’s Player of the Month award for a third time in a row.
Ex-Town striker Doyle, who was recalled by parent club Bradford City on Wednesday afternoon, scored five goals in five December appearances for Swindon.
It took his total number of goals in red to 23 from the same number of games.
Manager Richie Wellens meanwhile missed out on scooping the manager’s award, which was won by Exeter City’s Matt Taylor.
