Steven Benda – 7

In terms of key saves, he had few to make. Had to deal with the wind during the second half but generally came out to claim balls well.

Paul Caddis – 7.5

A fine pass to send Jaiyesimi through in the build up to Town’s match-winning goal. Little out of position for Williams’ goal, though.

Mathieu Baudry – 7

Sloppy giveaway of possession prior to Grecians’ first and only goal. But, was generally calm when on the ball and held play up well.

Rarmani Edmonds-Green – 6.5

Slightly sloppy header to gift Williams possession leading up to City’s goal. No major faults other than that, again defied his size to at times outmuscle those he marked.

Rob Hunt – 7.5

Some superb forward-thinking play – most notably a throw-in from the half-way line to send Hope through and a wicked cross into Yates.

Diallang Jaiyesimi – 8.5

A seriously good player in the making. Excellent forward-thinking plays, and some unstoppable passes to slice City in half.

Michael Doughty – 7

Came close to picking up a card, before eventually committing one foul too many. Long range passing ability was hampered by the wind.

Anthony Grant – 7.5

Another no-nonsense performance, he never really knew when he was beaten – though was prone to the occasional error that sparked City counterattacks.

Hallam Hope – 7.5

Fine back post movement ultimately earned him another goal at the County Ground. Not shy to shoot, but similarly keeps an eye on the movement of his teammates too.

Jerry Yates – 6

Wind perhaps prevented his usual free-flowing style. Slashed at a few chances, and should’ve finished one of Hunt’s inch-perfect crosses.

Eoin Doyle – 6.5

His goal is likely to be chalked off after it struck the head of Archie Collins. Had chances to score, came up against a good defence.
