QUEENS Park Rangers centre-back Conor Masterson is set to join Swindon Town on loan, according to reports.
BBC Radio Wiltshire Sport and West London Sport have both reported the deal is very close, with an announcement expected at some point today (Tuesday).
The 22-year-old has been allowed to leave the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium after the Hoops brought in former Hull City defender, Jordy de Wijs this week.
Masterson's arrival would bring the total number of centre-backs at Swindon up to eight, therefore a handful of departures in that area are expected before the end of the January window.
Masterson is expected to make his Town debut on Saturday when Swindon travel to the Valley to take on Charlton Athletic.
