SWINDON Town have announced the club will play a pre-season friendly against Championship side Peterborough United next month.
Posh - who were promoted from League One as Town dropped out the bottom - will visit the County Ground on Saturday, July 31 for a 3pm kick-off.
The friendly is likely to be Swindon's last before the EFL season properly gets underway on August 7, and is the fourth game to be announced following ties against Swindon Supermarine, Melksham Town, and Swansea City.
Town were beaten twice by Peterborough last season, losing 3-1 at the Weston Homes Stadium despite leading before going down 3-0 at the County Ground towards the back end of the club's disappointing campaign.
Town say ticket news for the Posh friendly will be announced following government guidance in the next few days.
