ADVER Sport reporter Jonny Leighfield rounds up the latest transfer deals to involve League Two clubs.

BRADFORD CITY have won the race to sign ex-Scunthorpe United forward Abo Eisa.

The 25-year-old, formerly of Shrewsbury Town, has joined the Bantams on a two-year deal.

Eisa told Bradford’s official website: “I am excited about the project being built here. I cannot wait to get started and am delighted to have got the deal done.

“This club has shown a lot of ambition by bringing Derek Adams in. We want to get promoted, as the gaffer has said in his press conferences. I like that kind of expectation and want to be part of something special.

“I have spoken to him a couple of times and he has said all the things I want to hear. I want to play games and do well for the team and my relationship with him has got off to a great start.”

BARROW have announced the signing of forward Josh Gordon on a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old becomes new boss Mark Cooper’s fourth signing of the summer as the Bluebirds prepare for their second successive season in League Two.

Gordon scored 27 times in 123 appearances over three seasons for the Saddlers before being released at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

Barrow later announced the arrival of defender Remeao Hutton, 22, on a two-year deal following his departure from Birmingham City.

EXETER CITY striker Ryan Bowman has completed a move to League One Shrewsbury Town for an undisclosed fee.

Bowman, 29, has signed a two-year deal at the Shrews with the club holding the option to extend that by a further year.

Manager Steve Cotterill told club media: “There is a shortage of free agents up top at the moment. We’ve ended up paying a fee for Ryan but I think it will be money well spent.

“He’s all action, he does everything. He’s played up-front by himself which is a rarity these days with strikers.

“He scored 14 goals last season, none of them penalties. I don’t see any reason why he won’t score as many goals here as he has for Exeter.”

The League One side also signed former Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers defender Elliott Bennett on a one-year deal.
